Direct-fired and indirect-fired industrial Air Heaters / Process Air Heaters

Industrial air heaters / process air heaters that ICE-BT supplies are classified into two groups: direct-fired and indirect-fired.
Direct-fired air heaters  produce hot air through direct contact of the combustion product with the process air. This mixture will be supplied to the downstream process.

Indirect-fired air heaters are typically used when the air heating products of combustion cannot contact the downstream process. This indirect heating of the process air is typically achieved by adding an industrial heat exchanger at the discharge of the air heater. The heat exchanger transfers the available heat to a process air stream while keeping the process air stream segregated from the air heater products of combustion. ICE-BT offers both direct and indirect-fired air heaters in a wide range of sizes and will be custom engineered to meet your needs.
